..Ramadhan...
Assalammualaikum...
Ramadhan Kareem... that is all the people said during the fasting month here in Dubai. Nearly everyday someone invited us to their home for ifttar or we have a portluck at someone's house.. Ramadhan rezeki... Everyone rushing to do good deeds.. >:D<
Below are some nice reminders & saying that people post during Ramadhan as a "peringatan" to us... this some of the collection from my friends post:
Ramadhan 1432 Day 23 : "Dan tiadalah sesuatu pun daripada makhluk-makhluk yang bergerak di bumi melainkan Allah jualah yang menanggung rezekinya dan mengetahui tempat kediamannya dan tempat ia disimpan. Semua itu tersurat di dalam kitab (Loh Mahfuz) yang nyata (kepada malaikat-malaikat) yang berkenaan" - Surah Hud:6
Ramadhan 1432 Day 22 : "Jika kamu menolong (agama) Allah, nescaya Dia akan menolongmu dan meneguhkan kedudukanmu" (Surah Muhammad, ayat 7)
Ramadhan 1432 Day 21 : “Barangsiapa bertakwa kepada Allah, nescaya Dia akan mengadakan baginya jalan keluar. Dan memberi rezeki kepadanya tanpa disangka-sangka. Dan barangsiapa yang bertawakal kepada Allah, nescaya Allah akan mencukupkannya. Sesungguhnya Allah melaksanakan urusan yang dikehendakiNya. Sesungguhnya Allah telah mengadakan ketentuan bagi tiap-tiap sesuatu.” [surah at-Talaq ayat 2,3]
Some other thoughts to ponder:
Lesson Time : Parables Summary ;) 1. To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.
2. Bullshit might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there.
3. You don't need brains to be a Boss - any asshole will do.
4. Not everyone who drops shit on you is your enemy; not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend; and when you're in deep shit, keep your mouth shut!
5. It doesn't matter how bad your performance is; what matters is whether your boss likes you..
